Debuting with a gritty single that has all the ingredients for a dancefloor meltdown, Sidewall has harnessed elements of funk to compliment his tight beats and punchy basslines.
“The Move” kicks off with an unassuming intro before diving to some pretty murky depths. An atmospheric beginning slowly becomes more enclosed and aggressive as Sidewall launches the bassline and toughens the breaks.
“Flux” has that funk flex that any good roller should to keep the body moving involuntarily. From the off, it’s a head-nodder that continues to grow in stature until the drop when the full extent of the bassline is realised.
